These seeds are sown into
us, as investments into our spiritual future. That we could
learn through the Body what other members learned through
defeat, pain and humiliating failure. (Ron
Kangus)
1)
Spiritual warfare is based on the Victory of
Christ.
(Song of Songs Chapter 4, Matthew
27:51-54 with footnotes RcV)
2) Spiritual warfare is a Body
matter
( No individual can fight it.
Live in the body in a more personal way, caring for our fellow
soldiers. Phil. 2:25 and Philemon)
3) Spiritual warfare is about
the Work of God
(Read the Glorious
Church, to realize the price of doing the work of God. To
cause Satan to suffer loss is extremely great. In preaching
the gospel, edifying the saints, serving, you can spare
yourself. But in dealing with the enemy you cannot spare
yourself. I want to give myself with the exercise of a strong
will to be one of those doing the work of God, to cause Satan
to suffer loss. The Lord may let us fall, fail and sin to help
us realize the ground the enemy has in us.)
4) Offer ourselves willingly to
the Lord in the day of His warfare, in the splendor of
consecration.
(Psalm
110:3)
5) We need the humanity of Jesus
to live a normal, Jesusly human life. It is “Man” that defeats
the enemy.
(we need to eat right,
sleep, exercise, take care of our husband and
children…)
6) Pray for our daily
bread
(when you set your sights on
the kingdom, the enemy attacks your
provision)
7) Pray for the Lord to keep us
from the evil one.
(we easily
respond to temptation, when we are alone. We need to pray for
the Lord to cover us and our whole house.)
8) We need a Strong
Will.
(never let it become passive.
We need a spirit of power related to the will. One of the
enemies strategies is to paralyze our will. NEVER BE PASSIVE,
pray, Lord, give me a proper will, to say Yes to God and No to
Satan!)
9) Be empowered with the power
that raised Christ and seated Him in the
heavenlies.
(Tear down every
confidence in yourself, never trust your feeling, Activate
your spirit!)
10) Resist the wearing out
tactics
(Daniel 7:27, Volume 38 of
WNee Collected Works. Be angry at the enemy! Refuse to be worn
out. Expose his tactics. The enemy will seek to wear out our
strength, our love and our consecration.)
11) We should not be ignorant of
Satan’s schemes
(the Body is full of
awareness of his stratagems.)
12) Be watchful after glorious
experiences
(Guard our inner being,
close your spirit to negative things)
13) Satan will attack you at the
point of your weakness
(we need to
repent, ask the Lord to expose the ground satan has in us and
ask Him to gain that ground back for
Himself)
14) Experience the Word as a
sword, dealing with our negative feelings.
( the enemy will intensify our wounds. We need to use
the Word to lance the negative feeling, then the enemy has to
retreat. The sword cuts two ways, the enemy and our
selves)
15) The first among our enemies,
is our flesh.
16) Don’t practice
sin.
(we may sin in our behavior, we
need to deal with it thoroughly, confess, repent, forsake and
receive.)
17) Cover our mind with the
helmet of the Hope of Salvation
(1st
Thes. 5:8. After a humiliating failure, the enemy assaults our
mind, even with thoughts of suicide. We need the God of Hope
to cover our mind to say “No, Satan, I will not die or
contribute to my death!”)
18) Pray, Lord cover us with the
Corporate Christ
(typified by the
porpoise skins covering the tabernacle)
19) Cover the sins and
shortcomings of our fellow soldiers.
(with the love that covers all things. Whether you
cover or expose, will be a test to you)
20) Maintain the one
accord
21) We overcome the accuser by
the blood of the Lamb
22) Don’t be silent. Declare
Christ’s Victory
(the enemy will try
to force you to be quiet)
23) Do not love our soul life,
even unto death
24) Do not allow the warfare to
distract you from the central vision.
(Gaze on the Lord, don’t pay attention to the
devil)
25) Overcomers Sing to the Lord,
Sing to Him!
(The overcomers on the
sea of glass are singing the song of Moses and of the
Lamb)
26) Praising the Lord, defeats
the enemy!
Praise
Him!
